New Lens!

I just got the Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM lens for my camera. It should make a much better walk around lens than the 18-55mm kit lens that I've been using. I also expect the Image Stabalization to come in handy when I'm shooting in low light situations.

I shot a few test shot with it this morning to get the hang of it. I've uploaded one of the ones that I like to my gallery. It's a pine tree silhouetted against the sunrise.

I'm also finally done with college (at least for a while). I turned in my last take-home final yesterday. I'm certainly not going to miss late nights studying for tests or pulling all-nighters to get homework assignments done.
